October 31, 2009 By Adam PohlNews-Post Staff With his helmet used as a crutch while down on a knee, St. John's-Catholic Prep junior quarterback LaMont Wims needed a breather. The Vikings had just used a timeout to give him one following his third touchdown in the game's first half, as St. John's routed conference foe St. Frances Prep Academy 40-0 on senior night at McCurdy Field. "This is probably my first time ever having three touchdowns, three different ways and I'm pretty happy about it," Wims said. Wims scored on a 50-yard touchdown run, threw a 23-yard touchdown pass and returned an interception 60 yards for a score to complete the feat.
