November 6, 2009 By Earl HollandDelmarva Times Coming off losses that might have damaged playoff hopes, the Wicomico and James M. Bennett football teams desperately want to win Friday. Last week, the Indians (5-4) were on the losing end of a 28-23 score to Stephen Decatur, and Bennett was blanked 46-0 by North Caroline. Wi-Hi, with a game to go, is on the outside looking in for the 2A East playoff rankings, and the Clippers (6-3) are hanging on to the last spot in the 3A East Region with Stephen Decatur at their heels. "We've told our kids for the last two weeks, 'If we win, we'll be in the playoffs,'" Bennett coach Glenn Gibson said. "Now we have our backs against the wall and we have to win."
