Arundel went from No. 12 to No. 9 following a 66-34 win over state-ranked Old Mill -- a game that was much closer than the score indicated ... until the third quarter. The perennial Anne Arundel County powers went to the locker room with Arundel up 32-27. A 28-point third quarter by Arundel blew open the contest, and sent defending state champ Old Mill down to No. 21.

Other movement was more subtle. Wise inches to No. 4, ahead of Calvert Hall, which was pushed to overtime by Mount St. Joseph. River Hill bumped up a spot past idle Eastern Christian Academy, which is still stuck on three games played.

The only newcomer to this week's rankings is DuVal, which stung previous No. 8 Suitland 26-6. DuVal checks in at No. 24 with Suitland right behind at No. 25.
